Critical Minerals to Enable Net Zero

The old world used hydrocarbons as single-use molecules of energy. The new world will continuously use and reuse critical minerals to generate, store, and transmit green electricity. This transition will require the creation of new critical mineral supply chains, the commercialization of materials science technologies, and the establishment of new manufacturing for sovereign capability. Essential to this will be the alliance of private capital with public policy, coordination across friendly nation states, and strategic collaboration of upstream resource owners with downstream process and end product manufacturers.

Why New Electric Partners ?

Focus

Our primary focus is on the electrification strategy of decarbonisation initiatives. These are areas where our deep market knowledge and global networks can make a difference. We understand resource project development and the supply-demand dynamics of individual critical minerals, as well as the needs of cell, battery and EV manufacturers. We seek to identify and help commercialize Tier 1 critical mineral resources in jurisdictions with attractive geopolitical risk profiles.

Strategy

With deep experience in global capital markets and decades of in-country experience in key Asian markets, we are able to provide practical strategic, commercial, and financial advice to resource owners, manufacturers and investors. We also understand the ESG demands of institutional investors in relation to the extraction, processing and supply of critical minerals and we are actively working to help create new, independent supply chains that meet the highest ESG standards.

Customer Centric

We start with customer needs and work backwards. We join the dots. We originate, structure and execute deals. We only work with a very limited number of clients where we have high conviction on the quality of the project and our ability to play a lead role in advancing the project. We utilise our industry and financial markets networks, and our legal and financial analytical knowledge and skills to deliver solutions to our clients. Our primary focus is on creating new supply chains involving Australia, Korea, USA and Japan.

Who we are

We have spent most of our careers in Asia. We understand the enormous role that Asian industrial companies have to play in decarbonisation and electrification. And we understand their need to secure dependable supplies of critical minerals. Our purpose is to help accelerate the decarbonisation pathway, from Earth to Electric.
